Denver Tailgate

The Lions took care of business on Sunday and handed the Broncos a brutal 44-7 loss.  The Lions are now 6-2 overall and 4-0 at home...I can't believe it, but all of us Lions fans are definitely enjoying it.  The tailgate rocked and Ford Field was loud and insane.  The breakfast burritos and our taco bar turned out good, so Sunday turned out to be a great day.

Thanks to Kevin at Detroittailgate.com for organizing the Cornhole Tournament.  It was a blast and we definitely had a lot of fun.  What made it even better was Bremer and I taking out the "1998 Warrior Football Co-captains" in the Finals, even with my right eye half closed.  Better luck next time fellas.

So hopefully the Lions handle the Cards this week and come back home being 7-2 and ready for 2 games in less than week against the G-Men and the Pack.  Our menu is going to be low key for the Giants game:  Hot dogs and Hamburgers.  With the short week, we need to try and prepare for a feast on Turkey Day.

For everyone coming out to the tailgate on Nov. 18th, Detroittailgate.com will be hosting their annual Chili Cook-Off so be sure to check out their site for all the details if you are interested in participating.
